A Brutal Affair
This series is informed by Brutalist structures around the world. A recent trip to New Delhi, my hometown gave me the opportunity to study some of these structures in person. That fascination for the raw, bold and unapologetic bulkiness of this architectural style has since grown.
The copper prints in this series were made in collaboration with master printer Julia D'Amario at Sitka Artists Residency, Otis, Oregon, 2022.
The lithographs and silkscreens in this series were made in collaboration with master printer Matthew Letzetler and Watershed Center for Fine Art Publishing and Research, Portland, Oregon, 2023.
