Tilt

Wood, graphite, paper, and paint, 10’x9’x5’, 2005
Saltworks Gallery Atlanta, GA

Shadows, folds, edges, skewed perspectives, and similar incidentals of production existing on the periphery of visibility and intention informed Tilt. The shapes and architectural nuances of the gallery’s architecture influence this piece. The collages of the installation play dual roles. They are blueprints for my work helping to initiate the process of installation and eventually serving as traces of an installation that once was.
