Cut Corners

Wood, brick, paper, and paint, 20’X15’X9’, 2006
Tilt Gallery and Project Space Portland, OR

The shapes and structural nuances of the gallery’s architecture informed Cut Corners and are echoed in this piece. The collages of the installation play dual roles. They are blueprints for my work helping to initiate the process of installation (while I was physically distanced from the space), eventually serving as traces of an installation that once was.
