About Framing is a drawing installation created in response to the architecture, scale, and location of the gallery. It explores moments between drawing and sculpture, intuition and calculation. Thinking about the traditional role of frames, About Framing addresses the tension between containment and dispersal. In so doing, I redefine frames not only as carriers of art but as art objects in and of themselves.
